Even though there are lot of many new emerging technologies, experts feel that instead of moving out of AS/400, the cost would be less to use their existing AS/400

solution, since AS/400 also supports new technologies like cloud, AI etc.

There was a rumour spread around the world that AS/400 would be dead by 2000. But till today, the AS/400 is in use by many organizations because of its robustness, security and all its other features.

Since AS/400 meets the business requirements, it will continue to exist in the years to come. The survey conducted by All400S LLC,  shows the way the future of AS/400 would go

As per the survey, 12% of the companies plan to migrate, but without any future timeline, 11% of the companies are still discussing about it, 36% are planning to migrate only because it is old technology or becaue of lack of resources. The remaining 49% of companies still want to continue with AS/400.
